We've Got Your Back (Pain)
From Owner and Principal Jeffrey Spratt, MT
One of the most common problems we see at Spratt Muscular Therapies is back pain. That's why I pioneered the ShakeOutTM Massage. It's convenient as the client remains clothed on the table and no product is used. It's economical; the cost is only $2 per minute and based on the feedback we receive from our clients and over 15 years of my experience as a muscular therapist, it is highly effective. Acute spasms along the cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine are common. Our sedentary lifestyle and our breakneck pace of living in a 24/7 technologically driven society contributes to our vulnerability to back pain and injuries. The good news is you don't have to suffer with chronic back pain.
In addition to regular massage therapy sessions, practicing good self care at home can work wonders in alleviating back pain, strain and discomfort. Working with a massage therapist is a partnership. We have the skills to reduce tension, help to balance out the body and address problem areas before they become an injury or, help with rehabilitation once an injury occurs through the power of positive quality touch. An important component of a health and wellness regimen is to teach our clients about what stretches and exercises they can do at home. Regular self care exercises and stretches combined with regular massage therapy sessions will help you reclaim advantage and reclaim life being able to participate in those activities that matter most to you!
